Spring into action this March with our friendly High Lodge Half Marathon! This beautiful circular trail marathon route takes you through the heart of Thetford Forest, a haven for wildlife including fallow deer and wild thyme. The course follows a mix of hard-packed trails, making it perfect for both road runners and trail enthusiasts alike.

Age Limits & Restrictions:

  • Minimum age: 17 years
  • 3.5-hour cut-off for the Half Marathon

 

Suitable For:

The route offers a great balance of challenge and enjoyment for both seasoned runners and newcomers to trail running.

The Course:

This multi-terrain route features hard-packed sand and grassy footpaths, forest trails, and a mix of scenic terrains that will challenge you while offering breathtaking views throughout the course.

 

Medals & Prizes:

  • All finishers will receive a medal
  • Podium trophies for the Top Three Male & Female finishers

 

Cupless Race:

To reduce single-use waste, this is a cupless race. Fresh drinking water will be available throughout the race for you to refill your own bottles, but no cups will be provided.

 

Registration:

  • Race number collection: 08:00 at the race start
  • Race numbers will not be sent out in advance
  • Please arrive early to collect and attach your bib before the race.

Additional Info:

  • To comply with UK Athletics Rules, a £2 fee applies to non-attached club runners.

This event spans multiple terrains, and all participants enter at their own risk. It is the responsibility of each competitor to ensure they are medically fit to take part. By entering, participants confirm that they are in good health and physically capable of completing the event. Appropriate grippy footwear is essential for safe participation, given the varied and potentially challenging terrain.

While medical assistance will be available throughout the event, neither the race organisers nor the landowners accept any liability for injuries sustained during the race.

By entering, competitors consent to the use of their photos and video footage on the Raw Trails website, sponsor websites, and in promotional materials or media coverage.

All participants must agree to the terms and conditions as outlined on the Raw Trails website as a condition of entry.
