About I used to view running as a means to an end (training for other things like rugby). Came back to it later in life and now absolutely love putting on my trail shoes and getting off the beaten track.

About: Started running a few years ago when a friend asked me to train him for the Oxford half marathon, We made it and have been running 10k and half events since. I had a break of 18 months with plantar fasciitis but have been back running for 9 months and finally cracked two hours at the recent Cambridge Half.
I’m not fast but enjoy the trails and would like to build distance and perhaps one day be able to sign up for some of the amazing ultra races.

About: I love to use my body in any way possible, physically and mentally. I like to push my limits and to keep running, cycling, OCR for as long as I can I include pushing myself in hot and freezing conditions.
Running is the main core of everything that I do, I have to keep running as I believe it is hardest to do and I need to keep it up.
I love running for as long as I can run than running will be my first choice always.

About: I came to running as I was finishing high school as I enjoyed the rhythm of running and seeing how far I can go. I have nearly always run on my own and I have only run consistently in periods, I am now thinking that if I ran with others I might be able to improve my running further.

I have done a handful of half-marathons and been somewhere between 2-2:30hrs, I would love to get a sub 2 hour. I have also done a marathon as part of a North Yorkshire Dale race series. I want to see if I can do a marathon again and beat my 6hr59 time. My dream is to run and complete the SVP100 and Peddars Way Ultra.

About: I have always loved running, but it wasn’t until my dad passed away from a heart attack 17 years ago that I fully appreciated the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Running got me through this difficult time and has always been a constant in my life. I love getting out on the trails and the wonderful feeling of freedom I get from running in the beautiful countryside. 🙂🏞🏃‍♀️💖

About: Trail running saved my life. It’s a passion and perhaps a slight addiction.

Have always run (I ran before I walked apparently) but only 2nd season of trail/ultra and moving up to 100miles this year, multi-day events and looking forward to more local events.

Long term goal to complete Dragons Back in 2024.

Drawn to the mountains but live in Suffolk. From North Wales originally.

Newly qualified Run Leader.
