About: Been running for just over 8 years, started it to complete a marathon and that went really well when I did the 2017 Milton Keynes event.
Since then I have started trail running as well, which I enjoy a lot more as I find it more relaxing for whatever reason.
A couple of events I have entered haven’t gone according to plan, so I’m looking to have a reset and doing some more focused training to build back up to marathon and ultra distance

About Parkrun was where it all started but I have since discovered a love of trails. Never happier than when I’m plotting new routes and out exploring. I’ll never break any records but I run for my physical and mental health and the beauty to be found in nature.
No ego, no limits, no pressure, no drama x

About: I started running about 13 years ago when my husband and i signed up the a 10k at Ickworth House, which we both loved. He then convinced me to sign up to my 1st half marathon at Brands Hatch, It was the worse run I have ever done. Multiple laps of the track and had a trapped nerve in my back, I hated every minute of it.
After having 2 kids it was the only thing I could fit in, exercise-wise. I have now done loads of halfs, a hand full of marathons and ultras. I do love the feeling of signing up to something silly and pushing myself to do things that others find crazy.
